I’m Steve. I spent over 20 years working as a freelance animator with some of the best studios and agencies in the world.Animatable really began in 2016 when I built a character rigging tool with Mike Overbeck. Limber benefitted from years of production experience and quickly became popular with some fantastic animators and studios - like Ben Marriott, Cub, The Furrow, and Studio AKA.

I always loved making art and animation. But I have a very technical brain sometimes, and making tools that help hundreds of other artists bring their ideas to life (and save them time and stress) makes me very happy.I’ve been a part-time lecturer in Animation and a long-term mentor to young creatives in the UK, with a basic training in counselling skills.I enjoy playing pool, building things, making things, fixing things that are broken, cooking, and reading books.
